Reservations and Policies:

Payment and Cancellations:
A deposit of 50% is normally required to hold a reservation for cruises.
Payment: We accept Cash, Check or all common credit/debit cards.
(Visa, MC, American Express, Discover) A captains tip of 20 % is
customary if you enjoyed your cruise.
All cancellations must be in writing by mail or email.
Cancellations for overnights must be received a minimum of 14 days
before your sailing date. There is a $25.00 per passenger processing fee
for all cancelled reservations. Refunds will only be issued if the booking
is resold. There are no refunds for cancellations within 14 days of
sailing. We recommend you purchase trip insurance due to the
uncertainties of advance planning. This is available through many credit
card and travel agencies.
Weather Cancellation Policy:
The sailing does not stop because of weather! Our boat, Captain and
crew are equipped to make your sail and experience enjoyable in all
kinds of weather. We can always duck up Narragansett bay for more
sheltered water, if desired.
Occasionally we must cancel for very extreme weather. When this
happens passengers will receive a rescheduling certificate. Trip
insurance is always recommenced.
Controlled Substance and Alcohol Policy:
The possession of controlled substances (i.e. Illegal drugs) aboard any
of Sakonnet Charters’ Vessels is prohibited. Alcoholic beverages are
permitted for those of legal age (21+), and in moderation for safety
reasons!
Gift Certificates: The Perfect Gift! Gift Certificates never expire, are
good for their purchase price, but may be upgraded as desired.
Upgrades or pricing differences are payable at the time of
reservations.
Children and Special accommodations:
Children of all ages welcome by arrangement. It is reccommended that
misbehaved children know how to swim.

insured. Our captain and first mate/chef both hold
current USCG 100 Ton Master's licenses with sail
and commercial towing endorsements and are
certified in American Red Cross First Aid and CPR.
